Step 3: As a First Time User, you can either create your User ID using Citibank Debit Card details or current passport.
If you have Citibank debit card with you, then we recommend that you use your debit card to validate

Please note: For this you will need an active Citibank Debit Card. NR debit cards are dispatched in blocked status for security reasons, upon receiving the debit card you will have to activate the card.
If you have already activated the card then please move to next step. Else refer below to activate the card

• SMS ACT to +919880752484 from registered mobile number for changing the status to active immediately

Option 2: Please call 24/7 CitiPhone at +91 22 4955 2484 from your registered mobile number and follow the steps below:

• Enter your Card details
• Customer will be informed through automated voice that his card is in inactive status.
• OTP will be required to activate the card on IVR.
• Customer will be prompted with two options : a) Request a new OTP or b) Proceed if OTP is already available

Please go to step 3(b) to create your online access using your Passport

Step 3(b): Authenticating using Passport details-> Enter Current passport details

Reasons for Error:

• 1. If any of the details entered above are incorrect then you will see an error message asking for correct details. Please re-input
• 2. The Passport number should match with the bank records. If the passport you submitted earlier has expired, then please submit your updated passport. Once the new passport is updated, you can create your online user ID
• 3. If you find an issue in page loading etc., then please delete cache and/or use another browser.
• 4. For any issue, please call CitiPhone for resolution.

Step 4: Read the Terms and Conditions ->Select the checkbox -> Click “Proceed” to receive One Time Password(OTP)

Step 5:. Enter the OTP ->click on CONTINUE & CHOOSE USER ID

Step 6: Under Choose User ID ->Enter the desired User ID in the space provided -> click on Continue & Choose PIN button to proceed.

Do note important points to create user ids, it should

• Be something that you can easily recall, yet discreet and not decipherable to others
• Be a minimum of 8 and maximum of 16 characters
• Be alphanumeric
• Not contain blank spaces
• Not contain the following special characters ", , /, \, &, %

Step 7: Further, Choose PIN tab ->Enter the desired IPIN in the space provided and re-enter to confirm -> Click on Proceed

Note : Please remember, if you forget your USER ID or Password in future, then you will need an active Citibank Debit Card to reset them. So, please do have an active debit card at all times.
