As of October 1, 2023, the DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card comes with a fresh new look and includes a contactless feature for seamless international transactions with a single tap.

The latest contactless feature on the DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card allows customers to make transactions of up to IDR1,000,000 per day without the need to insert the physical card into an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine or enter a PIN. Instead, customers can simply tap the card on a payment terminal that supports the contactless feature.

To utilize the contactless feature, please follow these steps:

• Ensure that your DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card is activated and ready for use. If not, please contact DBS Treasures customer service or refer to the instructions provided with the card.
• Check if your card displays the contactless logo. This logo appears as waves or the contactless symbol on the front of the card.
• When you are at a store or location that accepts contactless payments, make sure their Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine supports contactless technology.
• For payments under IDR1,000,000, simply hover your DBS Treasures Visa Platinum Debit Card over the EDC machine that supports contactless. Ensure that the card is positioned close enough for the information to be read properly by the machine.
• If the transaction exceeds IDR1,000,000, you will need to insert the card into the EDC machine and follow the instructions to enter your PIN.
• After a successful transaction, you will receive a payment confirmation.

What is the maximum daily limit for using the contactless feature on the DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card?

The DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card with contactless function allows for transactions without a PIN, with a maximum cumulative transaction limit of IDR1,000,000 (one million Indonesian Rupiah) per day. Customers will be prompted to authorize with a PIN if the total transactions exceed this limit.

Where can I make transactions using the contactless feature on the DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card?

You can use the contactless feature on the DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card at EDC machines abroad. If there are no contactless-enabled devices available, customers can still make transactions by inserting the debit card into the EDC machine and entering a PIN. The use of the contactless feature on the DBS Treasures Private Client Visa Platinum Debit Card on EDC machines in Indonesia will be subject to the applicable regulations.
